Colt:

COLT LEAGUE, for players 15 and 16, gives the athlete two years of competition on the full size diamond, in competition with his peers, before facing older players in open play and high school play.
In communities where the number of participants is sufficient, a PALOMINO LEAGUE for players 17 and 18 can be created, providing an opportunity for older players to learn the finer points of game strategy and hone their playing skills.
Both Colt and Palomino play on the regulation diamond with bases at 90 feet and a 60.6 foot six pitching distance.
Where necessary or desirable, players from age 15 through 18 may be combined on teams for local league play. Separate tournaments are conducted. Colt tournament play is limited to players of league age 15 and 16, while players of 15 through 18 are eligible for Palomino tournament play.
